While the buildings themselves are the centrepieces of our developments, one of the earliest challenges is to convert the surrounding land (typically arable or pastural farmland) into an attractive setting that seamlessly blends with the other elements of the surroundings.
Working on Blackhill Farm, we chose to emphasise horizontal space, and to use clean, sweeping gravel driveways to create unexpected vistas.
We are particularly proud of the original brick and woodwork used to frame the pathway in the Farmhouse gardens.
